Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Pokemon Fusion Calculator work?

Select any two Pokemon to create a unique fusion. The calculator combines their stats, types, and abilities to create a new Pokemon with characteristics from both parents. You can choose from all 151 original Pokemon and see instant results.

How are fusion stats calculated?

Stats are calculated by averaging the corresponding stats of both parent Pokemon. For example, if one parent has 100 HP and the other has 80 HP, the fusion will have 90 HP. This applies to all stats: HP, Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed.

What happens to Pokemon types in a fusion?

The fusion inherits the primary type from both parent Pokemon. If both parents share the same type, the fusion will be single-typed. For example, fusing a Water/Ground Pokemon with a Water/Flying Pokemon will result in a Water-type fusion.

Can I save my Pokemon fusions?

Yes! You can save your favorite fusions locally and share them with others. The calculator stores your fusions in your browser, allowing you to revisit them later. You can also share your creations on social media or with friends using the built-in sharing features.

How are fusion abilities determined?

The fusion inherits one ability from each parent Pokemon, prioritizing their primary abilities. If both parents share the same ability, the fusion will have that single ability. This creates unique combinations that can enhance the fusion's strengths.

Are fusion names generated automatically?

Yes, fusion names are automatically generated by combining parts of both parent Pokemon's names. The first half comes from the first parent and the second half from the second parent, creating unique and interesting combinations.

Can I fuse any Pokemon with each other?

Yes, you can create fusions using any combination of the available Pokemon. Each combination produces unique results in terms of stats, types, and abilities, allowing for countless possibilities and creative combinations.

How can I optimize my fusion combinations?

To create strong fusions, consider combining Pokemon with complementary stats and types. Look for parents with high base stats in different areas, or try combining Pokemon with synergistic type combinations. Experiment with different combinations to find the perfect fusion.

How to Read:
  • 1. Find first type in left column (Type 1)
  • 2. Find second type in top row (Type 2)
  • 3. The intersection shows the combination
  • 4. Color indicates the primary type
  • 5. Hover over any combination to see details

Tips:

  • • The color represents the primary type of the fusion
  • • Ringed circles (=) mean pure single-type
  • • Plus signs (+) show dual-type combinations
  • • Not all combinations are equally effective in battle

Type Effectiveness Tips

Strong Combinations

  • • Water + Ground covers Water's Electric weakness
  • • Psychic + Steel provides excellent defensive coverage
  • • Dragon + Fairy neutralizes Dragon weakness
  • • Fighting + Flying adds mobility to power

Avoid These

  • • Ice + Rock (4x weakness to Fighting and Steel)
  • • Grass + Flying (4x weakness to Ice)
  • • Bug + Flying (4x weakness to Rock)
  • • Dark + Psychic (contradictory strengths)
